• DFM has an experienced team of Engineers who have successfully completed first article inspection on all the components that DFM has taken into production. Using this internal expertise that we have developed, DFM offers the service of a third party inspection source to offer a detailed 3rd party inspection of your first article parts. Our GD & T services team works hand in hand with our quality engineering department and we can help resolve challenges that come up between the customer and supplier during this process. Our complete package includes balloon drawings, first article inspection report and recommendations on dimensions / tolerances that should be corrected.

In addition to first article inspection, DFM offers to inspect your production parts as well.
We offer the following as part of our dimensional inspection package

• Baloon drawings
• Fixtures for inspection
• Inspection certificate
• Material Certificates for any material inspection that was done by DFM
• Report with inspection methodology used for each dimension, nominal and actual values
• Recommendations for deviation re quests
