Raw Materials
DFM technology has an office and warehouse facility in Houston Texas. This makes it convenient to procure raw materials from the world’s largest suppliers of oilfield grades of materials in Houston.
With a 100 % EOU license the company is exempt from duties and taxes that can increase the cost of raw materials. This helps in maintaining globally competitive prices. DFM Technology has access to Nickel based stainless steel alloys such as Inconel 718, Inconel 625, Monel K -500 Nitronic 50 and 60 in a high strength grade. Non-magnetic drill collar materials and high strength grades used for downhole instrumentation subs are readily available.
A mill sources is available for Beryillium Copper which makes these machined parts extremely competitive.
Lead-Times for raw materials are no more than the transit times for ocean freight from Houston to ports in India. 10 weeks is sufficient time to import raw materials.
Small quantities for manufacturing samples can be air-freighted in less than a week.
